Do not worry about whether it currently is or is not. Just use your own thoughts. Be political and refrain from racism, etc.

No way in the world.
How could you ask that? They have no government they have fascism and Federalies? They sell everyone and everything out and have too many connections to our enemies. They are not Canada, who are civilized in Government and act naturally upon immigration. Ha ha it is our people that go illegally there to Canada ha ha so I would say that Mexico threatens Canada as well. They need to take hold and be a democracy and build businesses and stop coming here. The rich are extremely selfish there and will not share. They live like Patrones and Peons, and Japan, Germany, America, etc., have investments there and those independent corps tower over the government because of the wealth they bring in. We don't need that problem here on the continent it is getting more and more dangerous all the time. Drop that thought please?

No! The US and Mexico are two totally different countries, first of all. Secondly, that would open the door to higher crime rates and drug trafficking - they should seal off the borders; erect a 10-ft. high electric fence (and the same for underground to prevent tunnels under the fence) and guard dogs. The drug and crime rates would skyrocket even more if they opened the borders - not a good idea at all! We have enough people in this country without jobs, on welfare and in need - got enough to handle as it is now without letting illegals flood this country! Allowing them to come here is like saying they can take advantage of our social security and unemployment and welfare systems and we Americans have put into that system since the day we started working. Our hard-earned money goes into the system, paying taxes, etc., so why should these illegals come in here and have everything handed to them when the American people have to go through the legal channels for help and work for what we need? NOT RIGHT! Seems like Mexico is making their problems OUR problems - they need to take care of their own economy and people there on their own soil!! Our government needs to put Americans' needs first!

No. If only a few people came across at regular crossings, it wouldn't be a problem. Since millions a year come ac cross, it makes it too easy for any would be terriost to come in and set up shop.
When we travel, we can't go ac cross borders of countries willie-nillie, and neither should the Mexicans. I am sure a reasonable agreement can be made to accommodate the Mexicans working here. I believe there are already a couple of plans on the table, that could work. Safety of the country should be our first concern.

What they suggested that they had do and what they might certainly do might probable be relatively some issues. Frankly, with yet some exceptions those individuals are all liars. If RON PAUL suggested it, i might have faith him. can no longer think of of every physique else i might have confidence ...in particular using fact they vacillate on ALL issues. This immigration mess will proceed. it is not interior the wonderful pastimes of the firms that decide for it to remedy the difficulty. human beings like us will rale yet no answer is greater than ANY answer ...as they proceed to make funds on decrease priced hard artwork and larger numbers of clientele. this might proceed till there's a considerable revolt ...or the Mexicanos come and take over as they in many situations are threatening. while that happens, it will be too late. they'll vote non Hispanics out and installation their own management and there'll be not greater wish for a answer. they could have the balloting block legally or illegally. The fraud/invasion upon our us of a will proceed to usurp us.

yes it would save on us chasing illegals and why we are at it open the border between U.S. and Canada also. I mean we spend so much money on patrolling these borders and still people come across illegally make it open and who cares if they work here or not. We could then use the money for other things like education and lowering taxes but of course congress and senate will be rubbing their hands over that money...

The only way I think the MX/US border should be allowed to be open is:
A. They give us full control over their external borders
B. They are all prepared to register as residence of MX through the US Goverment. ID/Birth proof req'd.
C. They are prepared to be sentenced to punishment to fit the crime whenever committing a crime in the US. No deport.

Basically, they would become a registered non-citizen of the US. Anyone not registered and found in the US or MX would be punished by no less than $500 and 1 Yr in jail. They must also be registered before being released.

No the border should be closed by whatever means necessary. We can no longer support the 30 million illegal immigrants who come here, work under the table, therefore not paying any taxes, collect welfare, medicaid, use our emergency rooms as their primary care physician and worse import drugs and prostitution into the country. Our Prisons are bursting with illegal aliens and it has to stop. We don't need new laws... just enforce the ones we already have.

No. i dont think people should just be able to cross whenever they want to. If that were the case, what would stop people from going to mexico just to get a free pass into the US? With that said i do think the imigration laws should be updated to help honest people who actually come here to work.

Why not just mexico a state or a territory of the united states then maybe we can forget about all of the immigrant problems and get on with life.

No. The border, as it is now, poses a security threat to the nation. Also, it has a negative economic impact on the country as a whole.
