I think someone close to me might be abusing their inhaler. Please give me accurate info, so I know more before I can confront this person.

Depends on how severe the asthma is. Typically however, it is usually no more that 2 puffs every 4 hours as needed. However, if a person uses it that often and needs it that much, they may want to see their doctor and try to obtain a nebulizer for the treatments.

First question is why use other than a cold or sinus. No one should be on permanent use of an inhaler. Some dry up the sinuses and over use can be bad. Internal sinus meds are safer. If you must use over extended period. Mix pickling salt and water into an old sprayer. That's a salt water solution. Good luck

It depends on the dosage given to the person by thier doctor. If possible, sneak a look at thier inhalor and the dosage will be on it. If they are taking more than the reccomended daily dosage maybe they need to see thier doctor because it is not affective and they need a new medication.

if yo know that person's doctor discuss it with them, it should be abot 3-4 times a day.
