Burleson would be a good place to live. It is close to Fort Worth but a small town feel.
Good schools. Friendly People.

I agree with the other answers. Great town, I don't know much about the ISD but I am sure its a good one. People in general are wonderful. As for the weather, if you don't like the weather today stick around cause it will be different tomorrow. We mostly have mild winters and extremely hot summers. And we all are praying for rain. And it is normally very humid heat.

Texas all the people are great! it will be hot! you will pay high / higher property taxes if you have a money hungry appraisal district!
i've live near/in houston all my life!
