Depends really on what you're looking for.

Anywhere in the Printworks is good - try Paparrazi or Pure.

Canal Street is a real great night too, that's what we call the gay village (i'm not gay but i do enjoy a good night out there)

Or go to Deansgate Locks - Baa Baa or Revolution?

Print-works- under cover and has plenty of bars and clubs all under one roof.

Canal street (gay village)- surprising how many fit birds go down there to get away from the pesky guys, actually a very good night out.

Deansgate Locks- a bit more upmarket on a good night out you might see one or two footballers

Long Legs- Strip bar in china town a must if your a visitor to Manchester.

Have a good night out hope the info is useful.

print works and deansgate locks are super super cheesy. full of ben sherman shirts and dodgy hen/stag nights. if man made fibers and an abundance of cellulite is your bag, then go for it. canal street is right in your face out and very out gay - don't go if you have homophobic tendancies...
for a proper manchester club experience of baggie and indie etc try south on south king street. def worth a visit. one, central street is a cool club too.
bars in the northern quarter are a better bet than poser-central deansgate.

Canal Street aka The Gay Village, speaking from a gay persons point of view!!You'd be made to feel very welcome and there's usually a lot of hen parties and groups of women. It's just near Picadilly.Go to Churchills,View,Via Fossa,etc..which are extremely mixed.
