The Lord of the Rings for cinematography. Harry Potter for overall story and acting.

I think both are really good, but until Harry Potter is complete I'll have to say Lord of the Rings.

Lord of the Rings, hands down. The books are better too. I like Harry Potter too, but Lord of the Rings is a lot better, intellectually and entertainment wise.

They are both the best ever! But if you go by books it is Harry Potter. Because it is easier to get into. Lord of the rings is just a little boring, for a book. But the movies are the bomb!

Lord of the Rings by far. Its the best trilogy ever. Everyone was exciting. Great movie. Harry Potter was entertaining dont get me wrong, but its not LOTR.

Lord of the Rings. Harry Potter was very good, but LOTR was amazing. The cinematography was groundbreaking - look at the battle scenes.
