My younger brother is always being told by our father that he has no idea what is best for him. I completely disagree because he is a responsible teen that has a strong relationship with God. I was just wanting to know what you had to say!

It may just be that he hasn't figured out yet what God wants him to do. I think I am finally figuring it out, but of course I have no idea what the future holds in store for me. I suppose it just has to do with the teenager, and especially whether they have a reationship with God.

I don't think anyone really knows what they want out of life. Most teens have no idea what life is all about and how hard it really is
I imagine that your Dad was brought up differently and doesn't see his son going anywhere positive just yet. Give it time perhaps one day he'll see his son in a different light.

Some of us do, and some of us don't. Everybody matures at different ages. As long as he has a strong relationship with God, I'm sure he'll be straight =]

Sure I think teens know what they want... It might change as it does for adults too.

I guess it would depend on the teenager, what kind of person he or she is, and what they think they want to do later in life.
