Best thing is to use a thumb latch or some sort of tie to keep the cage secure.

What kind of latch do you have on your rabbit cage? There are normally two kinds. One that swings down on cage doors that open up and down. These are normally pretty easy for a rabbit to open. The other kind clips on with J-clips and you press it in so the end of the latch hooks over the wire of the cage. Sometimes rabbits can open these by pulling on them with their teeth, but most rabbits can't. If you have the swing down type latch take it off and put on the other kind I mentioned by buying J-clip pliers, some J-clips and a spring latch. See the website below.

ZKL1 or ZKR1 are the door latches on the webpage.

If your rabbit is getting out of the other kind, go to the dog section of the pet area in a local store or around any areas that have rope or horse equipment and just look for a clip that you can put on the door. You might even find it around where you buy car keys. Make sure to get a metal one and not a plastic one. I think someone else referred to them as a trigger latch.

Oh my, check that out. My rabbit ia named oreo too. You will have to use a trigger latch as well. You know the kind of latches that are on the end of a leash. Smart little creatures huh.

I would put a lock on the cage. If you won't want to do that then maybe you need to get a cage that is alittle more secure.. hope it works out for you

I would put a lock on the cage or something that will hold the door closed. :)
