you would be better off reading the graphic novel,by alan moore and david lloyd,i first read it in the early 80`s when it first appeared in a british comic called warrior,it was later collected in a graphic novel at the end of the 80`s or thereabouts,i`m not a comics fan in particular but alan moore wriote some good ones including batman-the killing joke,the watchmen and one or two others,several of his comics have made it to the silver screen none very favourably apart from perhaps from hell with johnny depp,also league of extraordinary gentlemen was alan moores but the film was guff,film version of v was pretty poor as well in my humble opinion
