The Pats totally got away from the run in the second half. It's true that they weren't having tons of success, but there were no adjustments made and they just seemed to abandon it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when they kept going to the air up by 3 with a few minutes left.

Second, the Pats defense was clearly gassed by the end of the game. The Colts came out rolling in the second half, and the defense was on the field over and over again.

Lastly, the Colts played a hell of a game. Well, at least they played a hell of a second half. Just have to tip your hat to them, to a degree.

They abandonded the running game. The Colts can still be run on, but both the Ravens and Patriots gave up on it. Run at Dwight Freeney, cuz he still wants to rush the passer every play, so he creates wholes on his side.

3:22 to go in the game, Pats get the ball back with the lead, First down - penalty. First and 15 -pass, 2nd and 8- pass, 3rd and 4 - pass? They should have been running down the Colts throat

When they went up 21-3, they only ran the ball 9 times the rest of the game.

The Bears actually have a legit shot of beating Manning and company if they stick to the running game.

They ran their tanks empty.(they ran out of juice) It was plain to see on the last score by the Colts; Their body language said they were a beaten team. The running back who scored -went in untouched. All the other times-the Colts were on the goal line they were piled up. The defeat was a fitting end to their season. The Colts had the Pats number on Sunday. Reche Caldwell's misplays and his bulging eyes were a suggestion his of being over-juiced and may have been another of many factors in the loss.

*From a Colts fan point of view*
The Colts played a better game after half time. The Patriots were beginning to cramp up and get tired during the second half of the fame. The Colts were beginning to get stronger and stronger and the Patriots were beginning to get sloopy.

The better team just won yesterday. While it was not a blow-out game..the better team won.

Its quite simple the pats defense was amazing in the first half holding them to six points and three of them came at the closing seconds of the first half............but when it came to the second half they gave up an unexcusable 32 points and there is no way Manning will lose when his team scores that many points in the in one half............ it also didn't hurt that some key players were out sick with the flu but there is no doubt about it that it was a great game

and i noticed them werent playing agressive after asante samuel had that INT return, after that they just let the colts score, they defense was tired and their O didnt take enough time off

we should have won, sad to say we lost

brady is 12-2 in the postseason, which is still great

look at my recent questions it brings up some things

better luck next year

GO PATS

im a Patriots fan too..yeah the colts barely won...the only reason that NE lost because the last interception..otherwise they probally would have won..if they caught it then they probally would have put Hobbs out to get the touchdown and the last touchdown by colts was because the NE linebackers were a little unaware of a run and a little too slow realizing it..wacth the tape..he's late getting to him! they will get it next year!!!

wacth at 1:03 i like it and 1:07

Patriot coach and quarterback, Brady, are most talented in both leagues, but the personnel surrounding Brady is second class. They dropped critical passes at critical times. I thought one guy had been paid off to do it. Somebody wanted to save money, and it cost them the superbowel. *bowel?

Though colts won, they will get clobbered by Chicago, where Brady would've won.

No veteran leadership on defense. Guys like Ty Law, Willie McGinnist, and Ted Washington are gone, and were not replaced. They still have Teddy Bruschi, but too much inexperience which cost them in the second half.
Also, it is not easy to get to the SuperBowl. Final four is still pretty good.

Only one valid reason: Brady threw an interception that ended the game.
