keep a diary of EVERYTHING they do and say, report it to the police everytime something happens (sooner or later the police get fed up and will take action) RECORD THE POLICE LOG!!!!!normally depending n the circumstances ASBO's seem to be the thing at the moment, and then get on to the owner of the property (if rented) complain to them.
If all else fails take the matter to your local MP with ALL the details, Log numbers etc. etc. and put it in his lap. he will get onto the police and local authorities, as they want voites and need to be seen as doing something!!!
I have had problems with mine, it took us 2 years but they were finally evicted just before Xmas!!!
Good luck mate I know it is hell!

The people who say "move" are forgetting that when you sell your house you have to give an honest appraisal of your neighbours. You have to say whether you have any neighbourly disputes. If it turns out that you've lied (which in this case you would want to do, otherwise no-one would want to buy your house!) you can be fined thousands of pounds.
I think the best answers you've had are the ones that involve keeping a diary and reporting them to the appropriate authorities.

Invite them over for a meal saying you would like to patch up the differences. Make a lasagne and include the following ingredients - plenty of laxitive powder, dust and fluff off the floor, nose pickings and sneeze in it a few times. That should sort them out!

It depends. How far are you willing to go to get rid of them?
You can be leagal and call the cops on them for things all the time. Or you can cal the health dept. on them for sanitary violations. Myself I would just get a few of my bro's together and do it the hard way, but our way is not the best. If you know what I mean.

Don't I wish I knew! We've got the neighbors from HELL!! He's shot our cats, gives everybody the finger, has strings run down the property lines, smashes bushes and mailboxes, throws rocks at cars, lets the air out of tires, etc.

It depends on what they are doing.
If it's something illegal, you could always contact the police. But, if no police action is taken--you always face the possibility that your neighbors would be even worse after you got the police involved.
Or you can be civil about it, and try to talk to them.
If they rent--contact their landlord. Some arguments can be taken to City Council

It all depends... what you interpretation of "nasty" is???
Meaning dirty/ messy... report it to the leasing office or if its a home you are living in... call the city
If you are renting ... complain to the leasing office of the apartments, condo... etc.
if you are renting a house..... and it gets out of hand, call the cops!

Hide some dead fish really well on their property. After a few weeks/months they will not be able to take it anymore and move.
