i don't know because i don't think they are anything to be infatuated with and am bored with the whole celebrity craze other people are in

At first I NEVER got why. I mean you will never meet them ever in your life unless you are THAT lucky! But now I reallly (and I mean really) like this celeb named Nick Gonzalez! =] And basically i think they are attached to ppl's fantasies (as far as celeb crush's) cuz in REALITY you know you probably won't meen them in real life!
Also, ppl can really look up to them. Some are positive role models while others aren't lol. Some ppl admire their songs, the way they carry themselves, etc.
Other than that, why be obsessed with celebrity life? Money isn't waht makes you happy anyway, and all these shows that show off how much they have; its very materialistic nad vain.

Celebrities... aren't they just perfect (or so it seems)
Kate Moss: successful, stylish, rich, and gorgeous !!
Johnny Depp: successful, well-dressed, filthy rich, has a great sense of humour, and soooooooo attractive !!
I could just go on and on...
(But you know what, like I care !!)
People infatuated with celebrities, are usually obsessed with only one person, who they take to be their role-model.
Every girl in London wants to be Kate Moss... every guy in America wants to be Johnny Depp, every man in London wants to be David Beckham...
It's not infatuation with the celebrity, it's the obsession with their success, looks and attitude- and the "try" and "endeavors" to become like them !!

I like having someone I can look up to.
But my celebrities are very subculturey and I don't really give a crap about the popular ones like Tom Cruise, etc...I don't really get what's up with that. Maybe it's the same reason.

Because they are in our face pretty much. We see them doing interviews, on the big screen, in magazines, they're everywhere. We feel like we know them many times...when we really don't. I guess if you have a lot of one thing in ways you kinda become obsessed/infatuated.

I think its the illusion that they produce. They all seem to have it all several homes, beautiful bodies 1 week after having the baby, all the best wardrobe and great parties. Its all an illusion and I know it. We need to realize that these people are just human. They eat, shi t,sleep and pick their nose just like the rest of us.
