every city has gay organizations, communities etc.. find them online and learn about where they have events. you can go to an event and know that everyone there will be gay..

But meeting people on the internet isn't always safe.
Stick to meeting people at bars and clubs, and i'm sure there are some local LGBT groups near you somewhere, just find them and you can meet many there.
