I have what would be a really nice lawn, but I have these large nightcrawlers that multiply and dig up my yard. I would like to get rid of them, if there is an easy way to do so. I am hoping that you readers will have great anwers. I will try most anything that is legal and safe. I know that there is one with batteries and wire I think. However there must be other ways. Give it your best shot. Thanks to each and everyone that participates here.

Earth worms are both helpful and benificial to your lawan. Keep them. As for ridding yourself of whatever else it may be attacking your lawn simply go to your local Home Depot and purchase a bag of pest killer. Will kill fleas, grubs and numerous other insects and not harm your lawn.

You could always get a couple of chickens and let them out into your yard occasionally. I can guarantee that they would put a dent in the worm population. At the same time you would be fertilizing your yard. Just don't let them out to often or they could do more damage than the worms.

If you mean earth worms, it is a good idea to leave them and not kill them. They aerate your lawn as well as fertilize it by its excretion. Earth worms do not dig out grass but they do create humps on the ground with clay like excretion which is good for grass. Something else may be damaging your grass (such as white grubs etc).
