probably would say "I'm fun loving, funny, compassionate, empathetic, and I love my friends and family more than myself"

Depends on who's asking.
Usually that question means "Who are you to me?" We exist in relationship to others.
I could say any of the following:
I'm a father, a Christian, a progressive, a husband, a caretaker, an aerospace specialist, a consumer, a club member, a bass (a singer, not a fish!) a writer, a brother, a son, homeowner, a taxpayer, et cetera.

Maybe I'd start singing that song by The Who.
But I'd probably just say my name, and ask who you were in return.

If it's someone I know, I'd say: you know. And if it's someone I dont know, I'd just say: why do you ask?

With just my name if the answer is for other people.
If the answer would be for me I'd just think, "I'm me".

I'd keep it simple and true; I am me.
