Public speaking jobs?

I was told one of the few talents I have an amazing knack for is speaking to crowds. I love doing it by the way. Are there jobs (besides teaching) where public speaking is the primary function. Also, what about paid public speaking engagements. How do I get into that?

You could become a motivational speaker. Do you have any contacts locally that you could contact about speaking to their groups? Start small and build a name for yourself and then you can move to larger venues.
