It's just Hollywood, my Dear One. Most Americans are very nice and as hospitable as you'd find in any other country. We're as appalled as what we see in Hollywood as you are most of the time. Remember it's just a movie. Blessings.

because they are tired, stuck in dept, brain washed by the t.v. men are not happy, woman control there life's. they don't get the sex they want. most Americans work at least 40 hours a week 8 hours a day are more. many with out any kind of health benefits. come on guys, i no girls it sounds rude but what guy doesn't want more sex. then after working a year at a job you hate you get a 2 week vacation. work a year and get 2 weeks off. and every one is trying to get ahead of every one else and some do just about anything to get there. and it might be because you are a foreigner, most Americans view foreigners as threats because there scared you might take there job, because there is allot of that going on now. or they might just act hateful because of the teariest threat to. remember 87% of Americans only no what they see on the t.v. because they work watch t.v. and sleep. i hope this helps answer your ? and i have travelled over seas too and when i see a fallow American most of the time they are not to friendly to me either. in fact out of every one i meet from different countries they have been the most unfriendly. i think it is because of what i said.

Those are people who are stuck on their selves and does not consider another person's feelings. It is terrible that people are like that. I live in Georgia and I have seen my share of hateful people but also there are very nice people here that likes to help. As for Hollywood, I have no idea I have never been there. Must be because there is sooooo many people.

You are stereotyping, and that is wrong. There are rude Americans, and rude people of every other nationality. But there are very nice Americans and very nice people of every other nationality, too. Rudeness does not target a specific nationality--only the human race.

No...it isn't Hollywood....it's Washington.

Seems like the whole damned world hates us now because our current leadership hasn't any interest in getting along with the rest of you folks.

You guys react to that and we react to your reaction etc etc etc

It has gotten so I hardly ever volunteer my nationality on the web anymore. I'm tired of being attacked.

There are rude people in every country in the world.

I think many Americans are just tired of hearing the entire world criticize us day in and day out. We're finally sick of it and fighting back.

I think a lot of Americans just get fed up of feeling like they're being constantly portrayed as the bad guys. 'They' therefore go on the defensive about their country and may feel like what's the point of being nice to other people, the world hates them anyway (But i like you guys!).

you can't generalise about people in that way i think there are some very nice Americans .usually people who are rude have money and think they are better than anyone else and it gives them the right to say what they think ,this is ignorance and it is not just Americans who fall into this category
