i live in southend/essex/uk,im looking to rent (to let) a place, anyone know how i can get on a mailing list? thanks.

Spend some time going round all the estate agents in your area, or the area you are looking to rent in, and simply ask.
We did that a short while ago when we moved to Scotland, and again when we started to look for a place to buy - both worked a treat.
The agents want to send you details of places to rent/buy, as this is how they make their money.
Be aware though, that you may on miss out on places if you rely on this method solely - keep seaching on line, and keep in touch proactively with the agents so you get the choice of the choicest property...

If your interested, I have a 2600 sq. ft. house. It is fully furnished with all amenities ( Kitchen utensils supplied, bedding and linens supplied). Main level features 3 bedrooms with 2 full baths plus kitchen, living room (with fireplace) and dining room. Laundry is on main floor with attached garage. Basement is finished with 4 bedrooms and large recreation area. There is also a full bathroom in the basement. There is master bedroom access to deck in the fenced back yard.
Regarding the mailing list, I am unaware of any place to contact.

Ask your local Estate agent or nearest Rental agent to add you to their mailing list. You can always check out the details in your local paper or pop into a few agents along London Rd.

There are many sites on the internet offering this service, however the prospects are not good. I tried finding accomodation this way & it is difficult. Other sites charge you £70+ to receive good offers from landlords.
