that terrible feeling would be the Holy Spirit...
I gave it up a while ago by asking someone I had a lot of respect for to hold me accountable...one thing that helped me was I wouldn't lie to them and I couldn't bear to tell this person that I had done that...
The biggest factor was increasing my passion for Christ and my devotion to the word and what it tells me to do...

try to put blocks on it, so that when you do look, you can't. its not too hard, you just have to be able to tell yourself that you can.
