I want to tell him but I don't want to make a fool of myself because I really am in love with him. But how do I know if he really love me for me.

Ask him, be direct with him, then he will know what your stand is in the relationship, then maybe he will come to his senses, or if he's one of those idiots that are afraid of commitments that will show up with that question too

if he hasnt said it by now then he doesnt love you....ask him if you want to but it seems obvious
