[I mean, if someone wanted to, they could try to take a positive stance here, and try to suggest some sort of 'way forward' for the country. It might make sense to try to try to try not to spend so much time towards 'trivial pursuit' and instead recognize the 'clear and present danger' facing our country. The quicker that the liberals can change their tune, the better chance we have at living as a whole.]

Well, Democrats have identified Bush as the clear and present danger facing our country. I agree that it would be refreshing if they changed to a positive message rather than always bashing the other side without offering up a plan of their own. I'm not saying they need to change their views, just tone down the negativity.

Why is it always assumed that just because you are a Democrat that you are liberal? While we're at it, why is it always assumed that all Republicans are conservative? That couldn't be further from the truth. My husband is a Democrat but is very conservative in a lot of his beliefs. I myself am a Republican and am very liberal in some of my beliefs. Go figure. If you hadn't noticed 65 percent of Americans are not pleased with the current administrations plans in Iraq. Not 65 percent of Democrats, 65 percent of Americans. It is people like yourself that have polarized our political system.

You are correct Sir. I concur, that is with the person asking the question. Yeah, we could pick-up and come home to only have to fear the government that is finally set-up, and then we're on the way back. We need to let it ride, and I no the plans haven't been the best, but it will get better. And as for our President, No he might not be the smartest person alive, but he is still our President, So we need to stand by him. It's not like he is trying to bring our country to an end, he's doing the complete opposite. He is trying to protect us.

If your referring to Iraq - it's already been done. The Iraq study group made several grounded suggestions, all of which Bush ignored, of course.

If your talking about the ethical lapses in Congress - the Democrats have already passed lobbying reforms.

If you are talking about Bush's disastrous fiscal policy - the Democrats are clamping down on the GOP's beloved pork-barrel spending projects.

If you are talking about the growing gap between the rich and the poor, the Democrats have already raised the minimum wage....

If you are....well, hell, what exactly are you talking about?

An uneducated opinion, not a question.
If you are unwilling to consider other points of view, you will get nothing from asking.

Do you believe everything the president tells you just because he's the president? Maybe when you idiots realize just because you have the title of "president" that doesn't make you the smartest person in the world.
