as far as perversion in the commercial sense im gonna say the Marquis De Sade gave perversion or the celebration and exercise of it a viable way to pursuit ones pleasures...i mean everything requires a frame of reference to determine where it falls on any scale pleasure pain beauty ugliness whatever so what is perverse to one is merely just another path to what makes something desirable or lusted for...is craving a snickers perverse...is wanting to do things besides eating a snickers perverse...depends on who you ask
