The video game has become far larger than the movie industry. A lot of people just do not want to admit it because they think it is childish. Staying in with a girl and playing a video game could be more entertaining and intimate than going to a crowded theater.

Playing video games. At movies someone can bother you and you can miss an important part. While playing video games, if someone bothers you, you can pause the game, kick their a s s and continue to play the game. It's as simple as that.

Not really changing...but video games are making the types of money that movies are. Look at Halo, or Madden- imagine the gross from one of those games.
It is like Star Wars etc. of its genre.
