Just go to an organic type of store, and find some natural remedies. They worked for my punding migranes, I haven't had any in 3 months. Good Luck!!! O, and if you haven't already, go talk to your doctor.

I used to have really bad headaches and i went to my doctor. They gave me Imitrex and you tak that wheneven you feel a headache comming on. It worked wonders but it always made me fell like i was drunk, its apparently a side effect that not many people get. There are so many other medications like Imitrex that work. Another thing that you can just get a grocery store is Excedrine Migrane. I dont know if they have it in the UK but its worth looking for. It gave me the same results as the perscription without the drunk feeling and it was so much cheaper.
Good Luck!!! i know how annoying they can be but once you find the right med, everything is better!

Go to your doctor - does it come around the time of your period every month? It could be hormonal. Try exercising - and yoga, which can help balance hormones. Check out Bikram yoga which is becoming big in London. Good Luck :)

I would certainly suggest going to your GP about this. Before you go there, come prepared, he will ask you all about your headaches. Think of these things:
- Are your headaches monthly because of your menstrual cycle, or because of something else?
- Are they migraine headaches? (Do you get headaches on the left, the right, or both? Do you get nauseated or dizzy? Do you become sensitive to light/smells/sound?)
- Have you tried stopping them with paracetamol or other over-the -counter, relatively mild stuff?
- What do your your relatives do about this? What's their headache history?
- Does an ice pack, a shower, pushing on your temples help?
- Anything else that might have to do with your headaches.
You could also try looking for triggers or relievers. Think caffeine, smells and thinsg on one end.... Physical activity on the other (along with the aformentioned ice-pack, etc)
Know as much about your headaches as you possibly can so the doctor can treat you. I get headches all the time. Migraines from my Dad's side, tension headaches from Mom's... different treatmeants for both. Get checked out... getting bothered by these things all the time is no way to live, especially as you get older and can't just miss things anymore.
