The easiest program that you can burn a CD with is Windows Media Player. It comes standard on all computers, so you won't have to download a special program to do it. You need to make a playlist with the songs you want on a CD. most CD's hold about 18 songs unless you put them into MP3 format. Once you have a playlist, select the burn tab. It will ask you to select your playlist. At that point, put the CD in and select burn. and that is all there is to it. This is also the same process if you use Itunes.

The only way you can get MP3's to your MP3 player, is to download them on to your computer, because they have to be downloaded on the computer before you can transfer them to a player. If you want free music, it is going to illegal music, so there is no way around either downloading them for free illegally or paying a fee to download them legally. You are still going to have to download them to your computer initially regardless though.

You can buy legal music from Windows Media Player or Itunes, or you can download them for free illegally at Limewire.

To answer your question on the getting the free music for your mp3: There really isn't a program you can use without downloading anything, but you could use Limewire. .: Limewire :. Limewire is safe, and free because it is ran by someone is Canada. Canada has no copy rights, therefore it then makes it easy, and safe to download things from Limewire. All you have to do is download Limewire. Limewire will NOT cause any virus, if you leave it on for more than a year, then it will, but it doesn't rather then that matter. To answer your question on the the CD burning thing: You will actually have to have the software for it installed on your computer. It is called Burning Cd's and DVDs. If you need more information, just ask!

hey feisty...

I use Nero. Its the simplest program in the world - just install it and follow instructions on screen...

I use it to burn music cd's, DVD videos, everything burnable...

I don't know the exact link, but search "Nero Burning Rom" and download a free demo. I think its worth the cash.

PS: Make sure you got a CD/DVD drive capable of burning. Also getting blank discs to actually burn.

BTW: A CD-RW allows you to burn data onto it more than once, as opposed to a CD-R - where stuff on it is permanently written.

Same principle applies for a DVD-RW and DVD-R.

I know its a rushed answer, but I like to K.I.S.S (KEEP IT SHORT & SWEET) ;)

I think you can burn CDs directly with Windows media player these days. There should be an option on the toolbar "Burn" and "Audio CD"

Alternativly, use a dedicated CD burning program, select Audio CD and then just drag/select the tracks you want and burn.

To download the latest version of Nero for free you can click here http://bit.ly/WhvSTk

In the past, Nero was just software for burning CDs and DVDs, but over time, Nero has evolved into a complete multimedia suite that's both stable and high quality, suitable for both an amateur and semi-professional user.
