they were wonderful. and very excited. plus, if they fire you now from when the baby is born.. you can sue and say it was because you're pregnant and that's discrimination! :)

most employers should be happy for you. depends if you have a nice boss or not? hopefully a nice one. good luck.

My bosses are great about my pregnancy. They're always concerned as to how it's going. My whole department (including the guys) even threw me a baby shower and bought me a ton of gifts!!! Wednesday's my last day and they've hired me a temp while I'm gone. Everyone's been so much help!

The boss I had when I first learned of my pregnancy was very excited for me. He immediately started gathering information about our company's maternity leave policies, etc. Unfortunately, he resigned about a month later, and my new (current) boss doesn't like me. He has been trying to get rid of me since he started, so I'm just going to take early maternity leave.

My boss was excited for me. She even helped me contact our corporate office to get all of the information I needed about leave time and whatnot. It turned out great because I told her within the first trimester and even though I am part-time they are still giving me 6 weeks of leave.

He was happy for me, but a little annoyed that I would not be able to finish the school year. (I work in a school and I'm due in March.)
