I think it was about time. Bill Parcells has been an NFL Coach for around 20 years & after 4 years with Dallas, I think it was time for him to step down & retire for good. He needs to let someone else take over the reigns as the next coach & he's leaving the team in a much more better place than they ever have before.

Fine with me, but I don't really care. Maybe he was tired of coaching and left to be with his family. Cowboys had a lot of problems this year, but overcame them and were very fortunate to make the WildCard playoffs.
Looked like he had Dallas' support, so maybe it was just a personal decision.

TO needed to go first then Parcells should have stayed one more year with Romo starting a full year without TO. that would have been a NFC championship team for sure.
