Can you give me some brands and where to get them? I'd even be willing to order them from somewhere if it works well. I prefer liquid foundation but every kind I've used hurts my face big time. Even the ones marked for sensitive skin. Thanks everyone!

Id Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals works for me. I have rediculously sensitive skin. If I wore brands sold in fine department stores or drug stores my face would break out within an hour of putting the stuff on.

With Bare, I can sleep in it over a single night and not break out. I also use anti acne moisturizer prior to putting it on.

Go to ebay to buy a trial size ($8). the trial size should last a month.

Hi! There can be several reasons behind his sensitive skin. Here are a few ideas and suggestions. What you describe in your question as actions already taken is fantastic! I would suggest that you try Doctor Bronners soaps, and / or Burts Bee's soaps. My daughter had dry skin - not so much sensitive - and I was directed to Aveeno for Baby's. Worked great! Instead of cortizone cream I used Aloe jell. This is a natural plant and really works well on diaper rash. I read that cortizone creams often discourage skin cells from multiplying. When you do go to the doctor have him tested for acidic levels. If they are too high this can be a factor as well. His sensitivity might be due to the fact that his skin cells are growing quickly and there is something lacking in his diet to promote healthy skin growth. Read up on fatty acids, Vitamin C, D, E, and Zinc for toddlers. Below are some resources for you.

I have very sensitive skin myself. I love to use Bare Minerals I have been using the product for over a year. My face feels and looks great. You can go on line or try Sephora and Bed Bath and beyond they have the starter kit. It's very inexpensive and works really good.

Prescriptives. It's a whole line of non-allergenic makeup. Also, Almay (which you can buy at the grocery store) is hypoallergenic. Prescriptives is VERY expensive, but is less likely to give you allergies. You might also want to try Bare Minerals. You can purchase it at any Nordstroms or at: http://www.sephora.com
Bare Minerals is produced by Bare Escentuals.

I have found foaming face cleansers to work best. Clinique has a good one but I generally stick to Lancome Mousse Clarte. I have sensitive skin and I have to STEER CLEAR of any Origins products.

Many products contain ingredients that cause or make acne worse. There is an informative letter in my source section.
Two lines of product that are likely to be safe are Claritin and Almay.
The location of your break-outs may help you see which products may be making your acne worse, whether in your t-zone or out at your hairline and sides of your face.

Prescriptives is a great product line, a bit costly, but well worth it. Go to a make-up counter (Macy's, Hechts, Nordstroms, etc.) and they will give you a free skincare consultation. That's how I found Prescriptives and I've stuck with it ever since.

Lorac is a line of cosmetics designed by Carol Shaw (Carol--Lorac spelled backwards!) who had exactly the same problem as you. All of the line is designed to be as gentle and as non-irritating as possible. The foundations are great--they come in oil-free and satin.

Try Bare Minerals. I don't wear makeup often, but this stuff is AWESOME and leaves virtually no goopy feeling on your skin.
It is kinda expensive though, but I think it's worth it and it lasts 4-ever.
