I would be very cautious about that. If you are forcing air into the engine through the air filter, Air will also go into the crank case through the vent tube reducing the amount of blow-by removed from the engine. This could lead to a world of hurt.

yes they do work, do a similiar job as a supercharger but not with massive gaines. depending on engine size you are looking at about 15-20 BHP more.Your E.C.U will automatically set your engine up to run efficiently.Dont by a cheap & cheefull one.Check out E.T.S( ELECTRIC TURBO SYSTEMS) on the net. They do a generation 2 which the motor spins at 40000rpm. If you get a motor with low RPM it will reduce your max speed because the engine at max revs can suck more air on its own.Looking at about 260 pounds for a good one.plus they sound mental when they kick in.THEY DO WORK to everyone giving you negative feedback.

Dear god no, they are useless. The can't supply enough CFM to the engine, and have a habit of making the cars run lean because the MAF sensor can't figure out why despite changing it's fuelling and throttle position it's still drawing in the same amount of air.
You'd do better to buy a decent induction system.
