I would say that it was too late to not train as a ballet dancer. If the question is remotely serious then I would suggest starting with a bit of tai chi and progress to a lot of tai chi before dancing.

Depending on what you want to do with your dancing. If you want to become a professional dancers - then yes, it is too late. However, if you want to take some ballet classes just for fitness and enjoyment - no, it is not too late, a lot of people do it.

yes, ballet is a very competitive and strict form of dance, most ballerinas retire in their late 20's or early 30's. sorry, but 43 is definitely too old to start ballet. sorry!

Deffently NOT anyone can dance at whatever age they want. You will probally wont be able to preform but i am sure there is a studio that will have adult dance classes. Just look in a local phone book.
Have fun

Its Never Too late. as long as your willing to try, of course its gonna be harder. but i started when i was 11 [13 now] while all my friends started at age 5 or around there, but i could dance better than half of them. you just have to practice & try hard in learning all the technique

Not too late to learn ballet, but maybe too late to make it to Wayne Sleep standard.

No, sounds about right to me, but you need some silk ballet shoes and a nice Toto before you even think about it.

If you love dancing, you can do it at any age. You may not get a great job, but you could learn it for your own pleasure and you could teach it too.
