I can't afford to go on holiday this year.. but when I have the money, I want to go somewhere really nice. Where are you all going this year? I'm just trying to get some ideas :)

The Economy Class ticket (round trip) is about 400 pounds.
Staying in Ramada costs around $115 (about 60 pounds) per night.
Ramada is in an excellent location- a few minutes away from Manhatten, Central Park etc.
I travel a lot. I'd suggest that you try to book a holiday during these January sales.
Also, try booking for weekdays; because hotels are much cheaper on weekdays.
Flight tickets for economy have 4 classes for example in Virgin. K, X, Y, and Z. K is for extra luggage and bit more expensive. I'd suggest you take Z (which is cheaper).

You could also go to Paris or Switzerland. Paris would be a more expensive trip than Switzerland. Visiting Paris or New York for 3 days, is approximately the same cost.

Iran [ Ancient Persia ] Absouluetly loved it and will be going again next year. The people are the most friendliest ever on earth and I was very surprised because Iam a British national and thought they would hate my guts. Well, thats the media for ya. The ancient ruins of Persepolis was just amazing. I felt honoured being in a palace which is still standing [ well some of it ] after 2500 years. Impressive stuff, I recommend it to anyone to go and experiance this amazing country.

I'm off to Marbella on the Costa Del sol in 2weeks 2day,I'm staying there 4 a couple of days with friends then going to travel to a place called Fuengirloa also in malaga to stay with some more friends of mine,then back home again at the end of the week! In June I'm back off to Spain but this time to the Costa brava to attend innovation drum & bass in the sun! Woooohoooo!

I am going no place on holiday myself. It is far too costly at this stage of my Uni Career. When I can, though, I want to go to British Columbia in Canada.

Going to St Ives, smashing place, no airport nightmares, no need for a £70 biometric passport, they speak the lingo and the pubs are great.
