hibernation , it then shut down and will not even turn on or show a charging light when plugged in anyone know why

You need to make sure the lead is plugged securely into the transformer, and that the light on the transformer is glowing. Then check that the lead from the transformer is securely plugged into the back of the laptop. Then wait for a while to let some charge build up in the battery, and if it still fails to switch on, it's a problem with your battery, which probably needs changing.

If it does switch on, go straight into the power management programme, and see what the settings are. Make sure everything is the way it should be, and that the hibernation setting hasn't somehow got turned down to 1 minute or something.

Well Most proberly the battery has died, will not hold charge, try replacing the battery

its either ur ac adaptor is faulty or ur batteries are overheated go buy a spare 1
