What do I need to major in to become an editor?

I want to edit or proofread books for a living. I want to know what classes I should take, degree, best college(s) for that sort of thing, etc.

English and Journalism. Best college depends on your grades, where you located and where you are willing to travel to go to college, so I can't really help you there.

Journalism, English and Business classes are all essential.
