If someone chooses not to work, then that person SHOULD have to face the consequences of that choice. This includes going hungry, not having a roof over their head, no new clothes to wear, etc. If a person has a job and chooses not to put in the effort required to keep that job, the job should go to someone that is willing to do it. The old "reap what you sow". However, with today's welfare state, they do not. Those of us who do work must pay for the lazy ones that choose not to. I do not include those who are not able to work because of physical or mental disability. I do include those who are drunks or drug users. I do not include a single mother for the first child. After the first, she's own her own because she chose to have another.

People like that get stuff, but they get the bare minimim... and if it's my job, I give it to them. I teach, and teach a lot of lazy people. I still get paid at the end of the day, and can feel no guilt for those who lay sleeping in the hay.

There's a few things I always remember, happiness is not given, it's found. There is far more to life than what's right in your hands. You can not lie in your dreams- truth will always be there.

If people want to sell their lives for cheap, hand-held joys, it's alright. It's been the only way that someone like me, sort of slow, has done so well- by easily gaining what others failed to recognize.

Gee... you know my daughter?

Seriously, I have tried for YEARS to "deal" with it...and you know what? There is no "dealing" with it. I finally, this past year, said, to h&** with it and told her, thats it...either get it yourself or do without. Know what happened? She got it......she's not happy, she's not satisfied...but my daily life is a whole lot less stressed.

Good Luck!
