Many young Americans don't understand issues like social security, civil rights, foreign policy, judicial ideologies, and thus, voting holds no appeal. However, it takes little thinking to decide who is a better singer. I don't think voting by phone would help matters; plus a small barrier like going to the voting booth attracts serious voters who are the real people you want to vote anyways.

Actually, voting is higher among the young than it's been for a long time, which is heartening.

With the Idol-type voting, isn't it true that a person can vote as many times as they want?

If so, then you don't know how many people are voting.

They may get millions of votes phoned in, but it could be a lot of them are by the same, say, thousand people, each phoning in 20 times.

But I agree that the voter turnout (for all ages) is appalling.

I exceptionally doubt that Seacrest could desire to be president. on a similar time as the instruct is immensly familiar, he seems merely the ringleader and not have any actual skills or skill. He seems campy to me, like a goof yet he's no longer humorous. i understand each and every time I watch the instruct, i could like it greater powerful if he weren't on it. additionally, i think of he's merely too youthful. you're able to desire to be 35 to be president, on a similar time as he's merely 33. and that i think of he will lose greater attractiveness because of the fact the instruct is going on, not greater.
