First a gun is not registered in the State of Texas, and carrying a gun into a business that sells alcohol is a felony. If your deferred adjudication will actually remove your conviction after probation then you may be allowed to purchase another gun at that time. You need to ask you attorney, and no you can not own a gun during your probation. If you are caught with a gun you will most likely go to prison for the remainder of your probation. By the way deferred adjudication with probation is a conviction you plead guilty or no contest.
