I think they are two different questions. I think Parcell DID fail in dallas because he failed to build upon previous seasons. He has a good owner that brought in players to help Parcell win games and he failed to do so. With that said, I don't think they are better off with Owens than Parcells, especially looking at what Tom Brady did with no-name recievers. Parcells should have stayed a few more seasons.

No Parcell's didn't fail. Jimmy Jones has shown no respect for this team and its history. First he fired Landry, and how many coaches even when winning Super Bowls left him. He brings a cancer to any team in TO and look at the results. Did Romo fail as many have said here? NO! He did a great job has he help the team believe in themselves again, without him no playoffs. If Dallas keeps TO look for a long season next year. And why hire a coach Dallas has the two force running the team Jones & Owens. Why except money would anyone want to put with the of biggest back stabbers in the game.

In short, no.
Dallas lost as a team. To blame Romo is just ridiculous, he turned the team around. Botched hold? maybe, but it happen's.
The biggest failure in Dallas was the signing of Owens. Not only is he over hyped as a great reciever, he is demoralizing to a team. There is no way any reciever in the NFL should be dropping passes in the manner he does. He is arrogant and above all else has dropped moral on every team he's played on.
If one person is to blame for the failure in Dallas its Jerry Jones for signing the moron.

I don't believe he failed. He left the team in better shape than he got it and only got bounced out of the playoffs this year by a freak play. I think if Owens had not been on the team with his personal 3 ring circus The Tuna would have stayed another year. I can't fault him for getting out.
