how far back are you familiar with your anccestory

i can go back to the early 1800's my uncle has written 2 books on our family history. so i know quite a bit..actually more then i would like to know sometimes.

No I haven't but I just ordered a book from the discovery channel book club and supposedly this guy tracked 10,000 volunteers as far back as he could and could trace them all back to originating from 6 women and 5 men I believe it was..I'm really looking forward to getting it!
