Global warming, crazy weather patterns, ice caps melting, loss of religion, the "axis of Evil", nuclear weapons and a general lack of compassion for your fellow man are all contributing to what I see as the down fall of the human race, and the world as we know it. What do you think?

Each generation belileves that the world will end with them. They quote the vague predictions of Revelations to support their fearful belief.

Here's what I think: All we know of life and the world exists in our brains as a result of our having perceived the world through our senses. We know, each of us, that we will die, and as we die, the world we know will die with us. Each of us is "a little world made cunningly," and a world dies when each of us dies.

Being on some level aware of that, we percieve our own approaching death as an apocalyptic end of all we know, the end of the world.

I think you're wrong.

Although global warming is real and a problem, I still hope we'll make the changes we need to to halt it.

Weather is and always has been nutty.

Loss of religion is a good thing; unfortunately, most people still do believe in one false thing or another. Eventually people won't feel they need a Sky Daddy. That will be a vast improvement.

The "axis of Evil" is a bunch of bullsh*t invented by freaks who want to destroy the world. Ignore everything they say.

I believe that there is more compassion now than there ever has been.

More people accept the humanity of all, and more people are working to better the lives of those who are suffering, are fighting for the rights and betterment of all.

All through time people have been predicting the imminent end of the world.

They've always been wrong, as we're all still here.

Yes. The world (as we know it) is coming to an end. Are you ready to see Jesus? or will you be left behind? Make a decision, He is coming & only believers will go w/Him. Don't be left in a world with absolutely No Christianity - think about it. Mass chaos will reign for about 7 years, if you survive.
