The Heat are horrible this season, there are so many better teams. They lost to the worst team in the NBA, the 76ers, just a couple of nights ago. The MVP should go to either Arenas, Nash, or LeBron

The Heat are AVERAGE, not horrible... And yes, the favorites right now are Bryant, Nowitzki, Nash, Arenas, and LeBron - all in the top 4 in their conference standings. However, the Heat are a team that has had tons of injuries (Shaq, anyone?) and D-Wade has kept them in playoff contention. Once Shaq gets back, they will be dangerous - but D-Wade has kept them close enough to do more than play the role of spoiler. I happen to agree that it shouldn't go to Wade, but he definitely deserves consideration. My pick would be Nash - have you seen PHX without him?

Are u kidding me look at D.wade numbers dude

28 points 8 assists and 2 steals

He on a team that would be the worst team in the league without him

He takes every clutch shot for the heat

MVP means how valuable u are to your team Wade is the most valuable player 2 his team

Without Wade the Heat are 0-8 this year

Every other team like dallas and phoenix are talented and young enough to win without nash and dirk , Miami cannot win without D.WADE they are too old and slow.

It amazing that Miami is even in the 8th seed out west with that team.

Also the mvp is usually given to the best player in the league which is D.wade man!!

and until dirk, nash and arenas start playing some defense they will never win mvp or a championship.

It bullcrap they are making the mvp race into a popularity contest instead of giving to the best player like it use to be

bullcrap!!!!

wade should not get mvp

i dont care what anyone says about shaq being hurt and wade keeping them in playoff contention; if the reigning nba champions cannot maintain a winning record without shaq, then he is the most valuable player not wade

I don't think most experts are giving DWade any serious MVP consideration at this time. Mostly for the reasons stated.
