what would be the top 3 problems and likely solutions in your point of view

I should have put this question under answers India. If you are an Indian ,who wants to bring in a change for the better i will be too glad to hear from you.

This question was asked to see your priorities on welfare of our country. I see some good answers.

First of all eradicate Corruption. It would seem to be a common answer but if given by reasons, it will be the most suitable one.
Corruption prevails at places where public goes to get some work done, and they offer bribe inorder to save themselves from harrashment and time and again running to the officer to get his work done.
If for every work a fixed time limit is created (for example : inorder to get a birth/death/residence/income/legal heir, etc etc certificates) a time limit is framed, say a person will get the certificate withing 15 days of his application. And failure on the part of the Officer in issuing that certificate within that time frame, he will be personally laible and steps taken against him, such as withelding his salary, or penalising him with some part of his salary, etc, etc, will definitely improve the standard of work in the Govt. offices and as a result, work will be smooth in the offices and people will not be harrashed. If the public is happy, then definitely the country is progressing.

We are all ready climbing the the ladder, 20 or 25 years, we will be be in commanding position, no one can stop. yes we can even speed up faster if only those currupt leaders go away. I would say 75% of our politicians should be jailed. No one with a criminal record should be given ticket to fight election and NO, we dont have to be like America. We should try to follow our own foot steps. If we look back at our 1000 years old history, do you still think there is any thing left to learn from America or rest of the world? About this 30% Indian workers in NASA, I am really confused, plz could some one give me real figure? I have seen too many official reports claiming 28-30% workers of NASA are Indians, is it true?

India is doing an excellent job--- within a few years (more like a decade), you will see India and China rise as serious super powers. The US gives Inida tons of jobs. I think saving money instead of spending it is going to be a huge benefit for countries such as India and France who save much more while the United States has about 67% of people in debt.
