I've been married to a wonderful man for a year - even though because we're dual-military, I only spend 4 weeks with him together between deployments. We finally live together in Germany, does anyone have any ideas about what to get him for Valentine's Day to show him how much I love, missed him and how happy I am to have him home safely.

Here comes the standard answer but it has survived for so long because it works. Bubble baths, massages with oil, quiet dinner at home, lingerie, quiet storm music, rose petals, champagne and candlelight, naughty board games. Give him all the gifts that you can only give him personally. Save the gadgets and watches and material things for when you are apart.

Take the guy to a nice hotel that has a spa. Have him get a massage with you and enjoy the room together :) Think of it as a romantic getaway! He'll love that you planned this for him!

I think you should give him a costly chronometer watch.

It will stay with him on his wrist for alomst the rest of his good life....Happy anniversary.

I'll tell you a secret....Men love gadgets...handy and useful ones. And nothing stays with a man for as long has his wrist watch does. And personally that waht id want from my wife as a gift.
