Tribute goods (trophy) not to be confused with actual trade:- gold and silver objects, slaves and also hunting dogs to be used for the chase or in the arena.
The trade probably with 'client' tribes was military supplies:-grain, cattle, skins, and iron ingots.
Tin was mainly sourced at that time from the slave-mines in spain (I think)
In return the aristocracy of certain tribes got oil, wine, glass and nice pottery

Basically they came for Tin to make bronze. they also needed the grain (tho most of that came from the east) also they needed slaves and more men for the army and places to retire the army guys as they got a farm for there 25 years and they couldn't just give away roman land they gave them the land belonging to someone else.

basically they never traded anything they robbed everything they wanted.thats why i was rooting for MichealCaine in the Italian Job

i'd guess silver and/or tin.
cornwall was world famous by then for its tin
that's a small world by the way, I am not suggesting that they were exporting to DC or anything
