It depends, a nurse starting out can't hope to make much more than 45k/yr unless they are in high demand...but after several years, nurses that have experience can command 80k-120k..nurses that work the midnight shift with my mother make triple the wage since it is a class 3 trauma unit...then you are talking 200k+/yr for full time nurses...

I looked at this before cause I was a CNA. I got paid about $9.00, now an LPN got paid like $16 and a RN got paid upwards of $25. It always amazed me cause the CNA knows less but does WAY more work. If you work in a nursing home and you are an RN you go on rounds like 2 times and change pads give out meds and then the rest is sitting in the little area doing paperwork. Personally I woudl love it to that.

in the usa between 8.45 and 48.87 per hour depandingon location and skills.
