Defineltly not! For a chick to be produced in the egg it must be fertilised so the hen needs to have had sex then. However unfertilised eggs do not require anything from the male, as in human females.

no, laying an egg is the same as a lady ovulating, in order for that egg to be able to hatch then yes they need to have sex, if not it just remains a plain old egg.

No. They will lay every 25 hours regardless. It will only hatch if it has been fertilised.

no. eggs are unfertilised. eggs that become chickens are fertilised. so no dont have to have sex to get a 'simple egg'.
