My exgirlfriend is 19 and i am 36.
On 3rd January she split up with me due largely to me practically accusing her of having affairs.
The thing is, we still find each other sexually attractive and when were together we find ourselves losing control in that way.
The problem with it is she has said she doesnt find it particually comfortable anymore but we still find both of ourselves eager to go down that path.
She really enjoys it and gets to a point just before sex where she finds she cant go on any further (leaving me feeling frustrated frankly).
She says were not getting back together because she says she 'just doesnt feel the same' but at the same time, she always asking whos texting me and we text each other every day.
We talk about one of the options to stop this sexual attraction is to not see each other but she says she doesnt like the sound of that as shed miss me.
I want us to be a relationship again but i dont know what to do for the best.

Try to make her your girlfriend instead of the ex. If she does not want to get back together, stop texting her and move on Mr. 36 year old going for a 19 year old.

You said your 36, and she's 19? It honestly sounds to me like she has alot of growing up to do. She's kid. Remember being 19? You want to explore, have fun... No commitments! lol. At 36, I'm sure you have the means to find other women more your age that wont play games with you, that have similar interests. So, your choices are:
1) Stay with the 19 yr old girl who will continue playing games with you for the next 3-5 yrs till she graduates college and figures out what she REALLY wants, in which case it may or may not even be you!
OR
2) Find yourself someone older (late 20's if you like younger women) that knows what she wants and goes after it.
Good luck no matter your decision!

She sounds like a tease.
She wants you to want her but doesn't want to have to commit herself. She wants you dangling in case nothing better comes along. Get out while you can, before anyone gets really hurt. Stay friends if you must but try to avoid physical contact.
I'm sorry to say this but the age difference is probably part of the problem. You are at an age when settling down & having a family sounds quite nice but at 19 it probably sounds like placing a millstone around her neck. She is young & wants to be able to enjoy herself without being tied to just one person.
Look for some-one nearer your own age that has already played the field & wants to settle down with a husband & babies.

this is easy, she's keeping her options open. she's keeping you hanging on and on and on and playing you. if she doesnt feel the same about you then she should back off anyway and leave you to get over her and move on. i'm telling you she's keeping her options open. not nice i know but give her an ultimatum. either you sort your problems out and get back together or you go your seperate ways as clearly you can not be just friends due to the sexual chemistry. you owe it to yourself to have this cleared up. i take it you had good reason to accuse her of cheating and twice isnt alot to accuse someone. shes got a case of the grass mite be greener and keeping you on the side incase it turns out it isnt.

Snap back into reality! She dumped you, she can't keep her hands off you, but she refuses to get back together. She's playing hard to get. Girls like giving boys a challenge but if she is really serious about splitting up then you got to tell her, if it's over, it's over she can't keep acting like your girlfriend if you're not.
Anyway, why don't you find someone your own age. You are old enough to be her dad!

You gotta stay away for a while. Let the sexual feelings die down a bit. Hopefully you will then be left with a great friendship. Limit your contact to phone/email etc.

This is one of the big problems with friends with benefits- one side usually ends up more emotionally attached than the other. I would just keep things as they are if you want to carry on- but you may have to face the reality that your friendship may be damaged- no matter what you do.

Sounds like your little girl is growing up into quite the tease. She has you. She knows it. She's using it for all it's worth. Sounds a bit like the plot to "Lolita".
