I was 31 and it was with my wife several hours after our wedding, and I wouldn't change a thing. Waiting for the right time with the right person makes it so much more special. It's sad that sex is no longer a sacred bond between husband and wife. Today it's simply a form of entertainment. Unfortunately, today's people have degraded themselves and are no better than the animals. Act upon instict rather than making choices to do what they know is right.

My husband was 21 and he lost his virginity to me. He was concentrating on school and just wanted to wait on dating in general. I don't think that it's weird since I was in a similar situation. Why are you asking this question now that he's 42? A lot of time has passed by....why wonder about this now :)

Maybe not 17 years ago. Nowadays, males lose their virginity around 15-16 on average. 25 would seem a little strange, especially "waiting for the right one." That may be perfectly acceptable from a woman, but biologically, the right one for most males is one that we're attracted to.

My husband was 17, I think. However, he has a good friend who is in his late 20's and is a virgin. It is rare but very, very possible.
