i know someone who married in one name then married another in a different surname.this bloke left my sister in thousands worth of dept and got away with it because he uses different names.he's got a driving licence in one name but married in another.he's been known to use at least three names at any one time.he married my sister,claimed benefits as a couple in her name but he was also claiming in another name and his mothers address.surely this isnt right.she has had £10 a week in csa as he is claiming with his new bird,now she's been told he's working and they cant get hold of him,probably because he's using yet another surname!!please help??

thanks for your answers so far.my niece has got the name that he married my sister in but married this new woman in another name.i dread to think if his other six children have got different surnames too

You can call yourself whatever you like as long as it is not for illegal/fraudulent prposes. From what you have said he is using aliases to commit fraud. Contact the csa to let them know what you suspect and the police with all the deatils you have , including names/address he has used.

You can use different names but not as far as marrying or to get credit as this is fraud I think in the UK it is a criminal offence tell the DSS or the police it may be that he is even a bigamist

You can use whatever name you wih IF ( big if) it is not to conceal criminal intent. This sure looks like criminal behavior.
Sounds like a call to the police is in order .

I don't know about the Uk... but that's definitely illegal here in the US
