All the info i keep getting is about their life or things that aren't really relevant to WORLD WAR II. I don't need info on their life and what they liked to do, just what they contributed to the war. Can anyone help? Please and thankyou!

At the beginning of WWII, then Gen. tojo, known as "razor brain" was the dominate cabinet minister for then Prime minister Konoye, who was thrown aside for his views of restraint and keeping peace with the U.S.
On 17 Oct. 1940, Tojo took over as the Prime Minister of Japan, the actual political head of the Japanese, the Emperor being a spiritual and historical positon, somewhat akin to the British Monarchy.
Tojo's ideology for Japan was embodied in the "Greater East-Asia Co- Prosperity Sphere", a plan of military domination from Manchuria/China, to Thailand and New Guinea.
Tojo was the embodiment of the Japanese military machine, and the driving force that propelled Japan into the war outside of asia proper. Disabling the American fleet to stop the U.S. from interfereing in the plans was critical to success, and so on 6 Sept. 1941, Tojo's Supreme War Council endorsed his plans.
The rest, as we say, is history, and on 7 Dec. 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.
Ultimately, Tojo was the heart and soul, and the commander - in - chief of all japanese decisions in WWII.
Emperor Hirohito was not a voice in the planning or execution of any major effort or campaign , but as the revered and worshiped figurehead of Japan, his endorsement of Tojo's actions mobilized the country.

P.S. Japan was very different from Germany in WWII, in as Tojo was not out for global domination, but total control of the pacific rim of asia, without world interference. A consummate military mind, Tojo never thought it could be a logistical possibility for Japan to hold beyond those boundries.

Try to have specifics in your question that lead people to click on the question to get more info. Most people won't try to offer an answer if they don't know what the question is.

Honestly, I don't know the answer to your question. But here's a helpful tip (teach a man to fish, as they say). Whenever I want/need to figure something out, I always head to wikipedia. (www.wikipedia.com) It's an online encyclopedia that has entries about almost EVERYTHING. It is edited by people around the world, which presents the possibility of misinformation, but most of the pages are well regulated and cited. If nothing else, it's a good place to go first to get a decent grasp on what it is you're searching for. Usually the wiki page will have external links to pages that are more, well, scholarly acceptable. Hope this helps.

the best way to surf the web on subjects is by using keywords. for example, if you were going to google Emperor Hirohito about his involvement, you'd have to put in the search bar "Emperor Hirohito + World War II" or WWII. Plus signs can be a big help.
