how to send a cd through mail?

Can I just wrap the cd in computer paper or a magazine page or something like that instead of having to go buy a bubble envelop?

Newspaper + envelop would do. I'm sending cds like that to my french penpal and they arrived in good shape

Put it between two pieces of polysterene taped it together and that it and its light so it will be cheaper via post
