How can my girlfriend get him to write lyrics to his street songs?

He should be able to make up stuff without reading. She can write down his thoughts. I hate to correct you but he can't read because he had problems in school not because he is black.

If he can't read well, it's not because he's black. It's because he probably didn't take school seriously or those scholastic values were never placed on him to begin with by his parents. YOU are in the wrong by saying being black is the reason why he can't read. Is your girlfriend black as well? You can get your girlfriend's boyfriend to write his lyrics by introducing him to Hooked on Phonics and a basic English grammar workbook. How hard is that? Are you scared to even suggest it to them? Don't be. It's a travesty that our American school system has let him down, but it's your responsibility to help the people around you achieve higher goals. DO IT TO IT and let me know how things go.

I will pretend that you are literary challenged and that;
A. An Africanized American, is a black American of African descent who has 'discovered his roots' and is portraying cultural awareness of this identity.
B. His poor reading skills are due to a disadvantaged education due to racial prejudice.
I would suggest that he record his lyrics and you can write them down for him.
But pretend as I might, I cannot help feeling that only a dimwitted ****** could write a question like this

What in the hell is an Africanized American????????????? Did you decide he can't read well? You and your silly views are part of the problem we have today.
If he's freestyling, he won't write them down. You need to check yourself. If your girlfriend reads your post, don't be too surprised if you end up with one less friend.

First off, he cannot read well because he was NOT properly educated. Being black has nothing to do with it.
You can sit down and transcribe his songs, writing out the words as he sings them, you could also encourage him to attend classes in basic reading and writing because it would help him with his music.

I'd say your girlfriend should skip worrying about him and help you to learn how to talk so that black men like me don't get upset with the things you say. Can't read because he's black? I'm black and I read very good.

What is an "Africanized" American? Is he the creation of genetic manipulation? Africanized bees, known as "killer bees," are honeybees that were genetically altered. Perhaps your girlfriend's lover is somewhat the same?

It is "African American". Black people can read just as well as white people.
